This is good info, in case your stockpile is flooded (Yes, it happens in Reno too.)

If you act promptly, canned (and plastic "retort" packages) can be recovered.
The key it to act quickly and REMOVE ALL LABELS because the label can allow mold and fungus to grow.
Obviously, you will be re-labeling the containers as you finish processing them...
