This is a multi-part article and I will update this post and thread as the other parts become available.

Part 1)  https://survivalblog.com/traveling-safe-haven-wrol-event-part-1-e-p/

Part 2)  https://survivalblog.com/traveling-safe-haven-wrol-event-part-2-e-p/

Part 3)  https://survivalblog.com/traveling-safe-haven-wrol-event-part-3-e-p/

While the article is couched in semi-military terms, it is specifically talking about how we, as preppers, can formulate a plan and what to expect when ROL (Rule of Law) is suspended.

This situation is not an exercise in fantasy.  I give you the US city of Chicago, Illinois  in the present day, as an example.  Not to mention similar situations in this and other countries.

Let me point out one underlying assumption here; that you Have a "Safe Haven" already known and perhaps prepped as your Bug-Out-Location (BOL).  While it would be best to have prior, legal ownership of such a location, in a WROL (Without Rule Of Law) situation, you should expect to have company, some of it unwelcome.

If you, like I, do NOT have such a property, the next best thing is to Know about locations (scouted now, while you have time) which could become your Safe Haven destination.  I use the plural because you may not be able to reach some locations and having alternatives makes life less stressful.

I hope some of you can take away some lessons and are able to integrate that into your own prepper plans.

Let me point to the comments section in Part 3, in which readers complain about the author advocating an illegal action (jamming radio).  Your opinion on this, and mine in writing this paragraph, should (MUST?) be adjustable to the situation at a given time.  I'll not say that this is a good idea but I suspect that this is a case of making a smoke screen to protect from legal action in today's world.  I cannot blame either the readers, the author or the publisher for stating these things.  But do be ready to read-between-the-lines.  It could be a life-or-death choice.
