I choked on the $2200 Teepee style...
Some of the simpler styles might (big "if" factor) work for prepping and/or bug-out-bags.
Some of them are simply unacceptable.

The Mountain Hardwear tent is an excellent tent. I have one of their smaller ones, and it is everything advertised.
Just my opinion.
