Title: canned Cream Cheese
Post by: lavauneandtracey on June 18, 2016, 09:48:57 AM
Hi all! Sorry we havent been around in a while but i wanted to pass this on again....

about six month ago we opened the first jar of 6 earlier this week we opened the 2nd jar and we are happy to say it is still good!!!

we hot bathed these just shy of 2 years ago and they have been kept in the bottom and back of out food storage, to avoid light mostly and to stay away from higher heat and cooler colds.

so we'll open another in 6 month and go from there yet again

this is a link that shows how to hot bath cheese and even cream cheese. Not the one we used but very, very similar to the process we used if anyone is interested.

Being a Cream Cheese addict myself, I'd be very interesting in the actual process you used for your canning.
