I, as non-user of that OS, I assume that you don't want to make the upgrade to Win 10.  Especially an involuntary upgrade.

Let me know when your dis-satisfaction with windows becomes overwhelming and I'll be happy to help you install a version of the free OS, Linux.  You have choices, exercise them...

Not your fault Jerry, but there are other people who are dissatisfied by the manner in which Win 10 is being pushed.

I can't help you with the Windows side of this, but please tell me how you send an email from this forum.

I use the small "envelope" icon under the user information (left side of the message block).  That is NOT done with Windows, so it should be received by the member (as you state, it does).  The "From" email address in the message should be the YOUR email as you provided it in your NNPG profile.

It is correct...I have not tried to send that person an email via this site.  I did not think you could use this site for personal emails. I used my email from windows.

My offer stands,  to help any member of this group if they want to move away from the Microsoft world and gain a greater degree of security in their digital life.

If you do nothing else, read the recommendations, in this article, about how to turn OFF some of the bad features of this operating system.

You also have the option to move back to version 7 or 8, which are less invasive of your privacy.
