While the name may be a "turn-off" for some, including myself, the concept is valid and might be applied to larger scale uses.

Building more than one of these, and mounting them in series may produce even lower temperatures.
One problem is building a heat sink to extract the heat energy which will build up at the restriction point. Perhaps this could be done using a metal plate or a liquid layer between plastic plates.
