Patching, Washing and Mending Cloths
« on: June 06, 2016, 03:30:42 PM »
We are a throw-away society and part of our prepper training should be cloths maintenance.

This is a good article on all three of these skills.  Worth a read.

I hate mending, mostly because my eyes are not good enough for the close work, but a manual sewing machine would be a welcome item in our equipment list.  Even if it is nothing more than one of the simple hand stitchers (looks like a stapler, but has a needle and thread).

There are local classes on sewing, but all that I have seen, locally, cost some cash.
