Pay attention to the warning that germination rate does decline as seeds age.  Replenishing your seed stock on a yearly basis is a good idea.  Also DO NOT THROW OUT the old seeds, some of them will still germinate, even after two or three years.

The old seeds can be started in planting pots and then those which successfully germinate can be transplanted to the garden.  Don't waste seed.
