"Manditory" in the sense that you cannot hold the local or state government accountable if you stay and bad things happen to you.

The Florida Keys look like they are in the main path...

Looks like the emergency management teams are waiting until the last minute to announce their plans.  That leaves non-preppers with little advice on where to go if they evacuate.

An example where having a Plan B, C, D etc. would make sense for preppers...  Get Out Of Dodge, now.

Imagine what the ONLY highway out of the Keys looks like right now.  There are almost NO turnouts on this highway and almost no room to pull off the road if you have a breakdown or run out of gas.
